I was inspired to use this on a track and the flute sounds is great, totally realistic, love the breath and the metallic sounds on some longer notes. I am not a fan of the flute - I can tolerate a few people playing the flute, like Peter Gabriel, Annie Lennox, Mel Collins, Ian Anderson - I don't understand why you would use a flute when you could use a saxophone. Apart from that, love this VST - it made a flute-hater start to appreciate the flute LOL I am using Win7 64-bit and Reaper 64-bit. It doesn't happen every time and I assume it may be a CPU / memory thing? not sure. The only issue I have is that sometimes, when there are a few notes close together in the midi roll, it will 'hold onto' a bunch of notes instead of releasing each note and playing each note separately. I really like this flute VST, great sound, breathy tone, and choices for articulation if you need staccatto or percussive.
I alternate a lot between this flute vst and another one but i love this one because it has kind of a breathy feel to it and the staccato/percussive modes are great. Probably a program issue with this particular VST, but still noteworthy (pun not intended). Good sound, but the articulation - at least on Mixcraft 8 - keeps changing at random.
